Pligg Web Toolbar module will add a toolbar to external links so that users don’t have to leave your site to read stories. The toolbar includes a vote count, comment count, title and social bookmarking icons. This is a similar to Digg.com’s toolbar that they use for external links.

How we developed?
Pligg CMS uses Smarty PHP Template heavily. we used the Hello World module as a base module and started hacking. There is a captcha module which helped me on how to interface with the core pligg. within a day, i was able to release the module.

Installation Instructions
- Download the attached Pligg Web Toolbar 1.0.zip file and extract it.
- Copy upload_files/toolbar.php to the document root of your pligg website
- Copy upload_files/modules/pligg_web_toolbar folder to your DOCUMENT_ROOT/modules/
- If you want to change your pligg logo, you can change it. Logo is located here -> new_files/modules/pligg_web_toolbar/images/logo.gif
- Login to Admin > Modules and Search for “Pligg Web toolbar” text. Click the Install link for installing the web toolbar.
- Go to Pligg Web Toolbar Settings and enable it.
