Today we upgraded our site which runs wordpress. simple one click upgrade is awesome. it happens even for plug-in. but after upgrading, we found out couple of issues with missing widgets. Existing widgets got vanished. I was forced to add new one hence took some time.
Pligg Web Toolbar module will add a toolbar to external links so that users don’t have to leave your site to read stories. The toolbar includes a vote count, comment count, title and social bookmarking icons. This is a similar to Digg.com’s toolbar that they use for external links.

How we developed?
Pligg CMS uses Smarty PHP Template heavily. we used the Hello World module as a base module and started hacking. There is a captcha module which helped me on how to interface with the core pligg. within a day, i was able to release the module.
Module is available for free download here
Try it and report the bug in the forum.
